Well out beloved Simease climbed the Jasmine bush and lost her footing and fell in a trash can full of rain water Gill had been collecting. Luckily we were home and Blackie was having a fit, so Gill started looking for the kittens and found simease in the water. He ran her to the vet. Now I didn't know any of this was going on and had no idea he had left until he called my cell from the vet. He had run out of house, no shoes, no phone, no wallet!!! She was barely alive and her temp was in the 60's, normal for a cat is 101. When I got there, they were warming her up with a hair dryer. She was shivering but "angry" at the hair dryer. We got to take her home at 94 degrees and instructed to keep her wrapped in the towels and an electric blanket. Above she is wrapped in towels and electric blanket and Gill's arms.
It didn't take long for her to perk up and she wanted to play!!! We are thankful for Blackie's attentiveness in alerting Gill to something amiss!
